Management Advisory Group was tapped recently to find a Chief Executive Officer for an Oklahoma subsidiary of a Midwestern telephone company – an investment shared with a private equity firm with more than 100 companies. The local operation provided phone service to customers with little credit. The ideal CEO needed an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong sales background paired with telecommunications expertise. Within six weeks, having researched dozens of prospects from around the nation, we produced five highly qualified candidates, including two Harvard Business School graduates.
